The SERDP Exploratory Development (SEED) solicitation is a means for researchers to test proof of concept during an effort of about one year. These projects will be funded at a level not to exceed $200,000 in total cost. Successful SEED projects may lead to more extensive follow-on research or development efforts. For projects to be funded in FY 2020, SERDP is seeking proposals responding to SEED statements of need posted at https://www.serdp-estcp.org/Funding-Opportunities/SERDP-Solicitations/SEED-SONs. Listed under Munitions Response is MRSEED-20-S1: Detection, Classification, and Remediation of Military Munitions Underwater.
