ONR requests white papers for the development of advanced technologies for diagnostic sensing and neutralization of buried and surface devices or munitions in land environments only. ONR is seeking novel, innovative and/or high risk/high payoff ideas and approaches. Total funding available over 2-3 years is $6M, and four to six awards are anticipated. All responsible sources from academia, industry and the research community may submit white papers under this BAA. White papers are due by 3:00 PM ET on October 11, 2019. Following white paper review, invited full proposals will be due by 3:00 PM ET on December 20, 2019. Awards may take the form of contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, technology investment agreements, and other transaction agreements, as appropriate.
