Elizabeth Guthrie-Nichols

Elizabeth Nichols has a B.S. in Biology from Emory University and a M.S. & Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently Assistant Professor in the Environmental Technology and Associate Faculty Member in the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology at North Carolina State University. Her research work focuses on the study of higher molecular weight PAH bioavailability in soils and sediments using whole sediment microcosms with an emphasis on 13C isotope tracers, pyrolysis GC/MS, IRMS, and 13C NMR spectroscopy techniques.
