In situ soil remediation technologies and site reuse

In-situ remediation technologies and advances in their execution are providing an ever-broader suite of options to manage contaminated soil and groundwater. Backed by these options, redevelopment considerations are no longer constrained by technical limitations of the remedy. In fact, cleanup decisions are more often driven by the planned end-use of the site, and not vice versa as was often the case in the past. With the broader set of options comes a greater need for information on technology capabilities, performance, suppliers, and completed projects. This presentation will highlight sources of information supported by the USEPA that decision makers should have on hand when considering in-situ remedies.
