Richard E. Smith, P.G., is a geologist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, Washington (P.O. Box 3755, Seattle, WA 98124-3755; (206) 764-3309; fax (206) 764-3706). He received a M.S. in geology from Texas A&M University in College Station and a B.S. in geology from the University of Washington in Seattle. He has over 10 years of experience in investigating and remediating NAPL contaminated sites for the Department of Defense and other Federal Agencies.
