Use of Soil Cleanup Criteria in 40 CFR Part 192 as Remediation Goals for CERCLA Sites. (EPA Directive # 9200.4-25). This EPA memorandum addresses the use of the soil cleanup criteria in 40 CFR Part 192 when setting remediation goals at CERCLA sites with radioactive contamination. In particular, it clarifies the intent of 40 CFR Part 192 in setting remediation levels for subsurface soil. It does not address the applicability or intent of other standards contained in 40 CFR Part 192, nor does it address setting remediation goals for contaminated media other than soil [February 1998, 5 pages]. Natural Attenuation of Chlorinated Volatile Organic Compounds in a Freshwater Tidal Wetlands, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, (Water Resources Investigation Report 97-4171). This report was produced by the U.S. Geological Survey in coordination with the U.S. Army Garrison, Aberdeen Proving Ground. The purpose of this report is to describe the natural attenuation of VOCs in a wetland study area. Expediting Clean-Up and Redevelopment of Brownfields: Addressing the Major Barriers to Private Sector Involvement -- Real or Perceived. Design Guidance for Application of Permeable Barriers to Remediate Dissolved Chlorinated Solvents. This guidance manual was developed by the US Air Force Armstrong Laboratory/Environics Directorate with support from the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Cooperation (ITRC) workgroup. This guidance addresses design, emplacement, and monitoring of permeable barriers in various hydrogeologic settings [February 1997, 177 Pages]. A Guideline for Dynamic Workplans and Field Analytics: The Keys to Cost-Effective Site Characterization and Cleanup. This report was developed by Tufts University in cooperation with U.S EPA Region I. A number of governmental, academic, and private sector organizations have articulated innovative strategies for performing hazardous site characterization and remediation in a more efficient and cost-effective manner. Certain basic elements are common to all these strategies, and the cost-effectiveness and practicality of this approach has been demonstrated in a number of settings. Every month we encounter between 20-30 undeliverable addresses. In some instances, it may be due to the addressees' servers being down that particular day. Every month, we wrestle with what to do with the undeliverable addresses. In the past we deleted them. We have decided to leave them on the list for 2 additional deliveries. If the address remains undeliverable 3 months in a row, it will be deleted.
