Eva DavisDr. Eva Davis has been a research hydrologist with EPA’s National Risk Management Research Laboratory at the R.S. Kerr Environmental Research Center since 1990. Her research efforts have included the effects of structured soil on the transport of adsorptive chemicals, and two phase flow in porous media. Since joining EPA, she has extended her work with two phase flow to hot water displacement of oils, the effects of temperature on flow in porous media, and how heat can enhance the recovery of contaminants from the subsurface. Dr. Davis received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University in 1979, a MSE from Texas A&M University in 1986, and Ph.D. from Colorado State University in 1990. The emphasis of her graduate study was on groundwater hydrology and the flow and transport of contaminants in the subsurface environment.
