Jim Jordahl has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of Iowa and a M.S. in soil science from Iowa State University. He has worked as an environmental scientist/soil scientist for CH2M HILL for the past 5.5 years, and is presently in their Des Moines, Iowa office, where he serves as CH2M HILL's regional technology leader for natural treatment systems for the northeastern U.S. Dr. Jordahl has provided leadership on many phytotechnology projects across the U.S. and in other countries, include remediation and hydraulic control of petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents, alternative caps, landfill leachate and effluent irrigation, and large scale phytostabilization.
