Charles has worked with the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division since 1991. He has backgrounds in geology and civil engineering. He has issued hazardous waste operating and post-closure permits. In addition, he has overseen corrective action site inspections and characterization, remediation, and post-closure care projects. Charles has been affiliated with the ITRC for three years. He initially acted as Colorado’s Point of Contact, and as a DNAPLS Surfactant and Cosolvent subteam leader. He currently is the team leader for the Alternative Landfill Technologies team.
