Chemistry of the 1991-1992 stratospheric winter: Three-dimensional model simulations.
Lefevre, F., G. Brasseur, I. Folkins, A. K. Smith, and P. Simon. 1994. Journal of Geophysical Research, Vol 99, pp 8183-8195.

This paper discusses a comparison of microwave limb sounder experiments of the Arctic winter lower-stratospheric vortex and the results of a 3-D model, which showed the observed distribution and evolution of enhanced Artic chlorine (CLO) were consistent with chemical-transport model predictions.
