National Notable Achievement Awards The Superfund National Notable Achievement Awards were established in the late 1980s to recognize Regional Superfund staff. Since 1998, additional award components have been added by OSWER and OECA. The existing and new awards recognize exemplary accomplishments on the front lines of EPA's waste management and emergency response programs.
