Presentation Overview:

EPA ensures Superfund sites are cleaned up by finding the companies or people responsible for contamination at a site, and negotiating with them to do the cleanup themselves, or to pay for the cleanup done by another party. Many PRPs not only take care of the cleanup, but also look for ways to work with communities to return sites to beneficial use. Webinar presenters include representatives from several PRP groups that have been active participants in Superfund cleanup and reuse projects. Webinar participants will also hear from EPA staff who will explain how the Agency works with PRPs and other stakeholders to facilitate site reuse.
