Lessons Learned
Lessons learned   Unexpected high rates of groundwater extraction from the treatment zone limited the rates of subsurface heating and VOC removal. In order for the system to be effective, the flow of groundwater must be lower or controlled by (for example, by using larger-diameter vapor extraction wells, installing a hydraulic barrier, or injecting steam into water-bearing fractures).
Information on Additional Activities at Site
Types of previous site technology activities   A groundwater pump and treat system has operated at the site since the mid-1990s.
