Casey Luckett Snyder, EPA Region 6 (Luckett.casey@Epa.gov or 214-665-7393)
Casey Luckett Snyder has served as the Region 6 Superfund Redevelopment Coordinator (SRP) since 2009. Currently, Casey is on detail to EPA's national Superfund Redevelopment Program at EPA Headquarters. In addition to her SRP positions, she's also a Superfund Remedial Project Manager, managing and overseeing the cleanup of several Superfund sites in Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Casey began her career with EPA in 2000. She spent four and a half years with the Region 6 Water Enforcement Branch, where she coordinated the Region's Onshore Oil and Gas Stormwater enforcement programs. In 2005, she joined the Region 6 Brownfields Program where she served as Brownfields Project Officer until 2011. In 2011, Casey transitioned to the Superfund Remedial Project Manager role, where her current responsibilities include overseeing the cleanup of multiple Superfund sites across Region 6. For the past 12 years, Casey has served as the Regional Superfund Redevelopment Coordinator where she identifies innovative and beneficial opportunities to assist Superfund site stakeholders with tools and resources to facilitate and support Superfund site reuse and redevelopment. Casey is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She received dual degrees – a B.S. in Engineering and a B.S. in Geography.
Cheryn Robles, Environmental Affairs Administrator, City of New Orleans
Cheryn Robles, APR is the Environmental Affairs Administrator for the City of New Orleans. She is currently leading feasibility analysis for redeveloping the Agriculture St. Landfill Superfund site, which has been a contentious environmental justice issue for decades. Previously, Cheryn was the Outreach Manager for the Department of Public Works where she managed internal and external communications for multi-disciplinary, citywide infrastructure improvement program. Cheryn earned her bachelor's degree from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master's in Environmental Management from Duke University. She lives in New Orleans with her beagle, Maggie, and frequent foster dog houseguests.
Lora Strine, U.S. EPA (strine.lora@epa.gov or 202-564-1521)
Lora Strine is team leader for EPA's RE-Powering America's Land Initiative. She has twenty years of experience in the energy and environment field. Ms. Strine coordinates the promotion and development of resources to help communities redevelop contaminated land with renewable energy. She is passionate about sharing best practices with local and state governments to understand what makes a successful Brightfields Initiative. Tom Bloom, EPA Region 5 (bloom.thomas@epa.gov)
Tom Bloom is the Region 5 Superfund Redevelopment Coordinator and has been working with communities in his Region since the inception of the Superfund Redevelopment Initiative in 1999. Tom has worked with nearly 100 communities in Region 5 to help consider reuse as part of the cleanup process. Tom has decades of experience with EPA as both a remedial project manager and an on-scene coordinator. He has presented at numerous Brownfields, NARPM, and other conferences on the topic of Superfund Redevelopment and is considered a national expert.

Jean Balent, U.S. EPA Technology Innovation and Field Services Division (balent.jean@epa.gov or 202-566-0832)
Ms Balent is on the staff of the EPA's Technology Innovation and Field Services Division where she has worked to collect and disseminate hazardous waste remediation and characterization information since 2003. Ms Balent manages the Clean Up Information Network website and actively supports online communication and collaboration resources available to EPA. She formerly worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers Environmental Engineering Division in the Buffalo District. Ms Balent was also a member of the SUNY-Buffalo Groundwater Research Group where she constructed and tested large scale models of groundwater flow. Ms Balent has also conducted research relating to the Great Lakes, environmental remediation, and brownfields re-development. She holds a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from SUNY-Buffalo and a Master's degree in Information Technology from AIU.
