State Coalition for Remediation of Drycleaners Site Profiles
Express Cleaners, Salina, Kansas
Description
|
Between 1985 and 1988 several public water supply (PWS) wells were tested and found to contain low levels of VOCs. Investigations led to the Express Cleaners site as a source for PCE contamination in the PWS wells. The drycleaning building has since been torn down and replaced by the Salina Regional Health Center. The construction of the new building was completed in conjuction with the installation of the remediation system. Remediation Status: In groundwater monitoring |
