This notice constitutes market research issued solely for information purposes. EPA is requesting comments on a DRAFT RFP for the Navajo Area Abandoned Mines Response and Construction Services (AMRCS). The anticipated release date of the final RFP is spring 2018. The purpose of the Navajo Area AMRCS contract is to provide cleanup, response, and construction services to U.S. EPA, primarily at former uranium mining-related sites on or within the Navajo Nation (within EPA Region 9 in Arizona and New Mexico) and within the Grants Mining District (located in EPA Region 6, New Mexico). Total small business set-asides are anticipated for multiple-award IDIQ contracts, contract duration of one base year and four one-year options (not to exceed 66 months), and estimated total magnitude of $220M for all contracts combined.
