This acquisition in support of U.S. EPA Region 3 (Mid Atlantic) is unrestricted under NAICS code 541620 (Environmental Consulting Services), small business size standard $15M. The purpose of the Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract is to provide nationally consistent advisory and assistance services to EPA's on-scene coordinators and other federal officials implementing EPA's responsibilities under the national response system. The Government contemplates the award of a fixed-rate/IDIQ-type contract resulting from this solicitation. The contract will have a 4-year base period of performance and one option year.
